Facilities

Meroe features Panoramic Suites, 8 Luxury Rooms, and 1 Standard Room, all equipped with large, panoramic windows to take in the Nile's breathtaking views. Onboard facilities include dining areas, bars, and a reading lounge, ensuring guests' comfort and entertainment. The boat is equipped with a sprinkling system, anti-fire treatment, and full fire safety measures for peace of mind. A doctor is available on call, and air conditioning ensures a comfortable environment throughout the journey. Private bathrooms come with hair dryers, and an accompanying motorboat is available to assist in calm conditions. The sun deck is the perfect place to unwind and soak in the surroundings.

Itinerary

Day 1: Monday : Esna

Arrival at Luxor airport or train station, followed by a tour of Esna, known for its ancient Temple of Khnum and vibrant market streets. Overnight stay on board in Esna. (Meals: Lunch, Dinner)

Day 2: Tuesday : El Kab & Edfu

Overnight sailing to El Kab, exploring the temple of Nekhbet and decorated tombs. Afternoon arrival at Edfu for a visit to the temple of Horus via horse and carriage, followed by sailing to a beautiful island. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3: Wednesday : Sail & Swim

A day dedicated to sailing the Nile, with stops for walking, swimming, and exploring an island. Evening near the temple of Gebel Silsileh, with an opportunity for a desert walk. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4: Thursday : Gebel Silsileh

Exclusive visit to the temple of Horemheb and ancient quarries. Enjoy tea and shisha at a local cafรฉ, followed by lunch and swimming on a scenic riverbank. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5: Friday : Kom Ombo

Morning visit to the temple and town of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek. Explore the Crocodile Museum, showcasing mummified crocodiles. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6: Saturday : Aswan

  • Breakfast on board before transferring to Aswan airport or train station for departure. (Meals: Breakfast)
